Whilst not a Church controlled event, the ‘Treat’ is organised by the people of Linthwaite Methodist Church and other helpers.
Held on the 1st Saturday in March each year, the treat is financed by a house to house collection on Christmas Day. Open to everyone aged 65 and over, who live within the treat boundary, this is a great opportunity to get together to meet old friends and make new ones.
