What else do we do?
As we are a Church we hope you have read about the different forms of worship that takes place in our Church. However, in keeping with the Methodist Church vision and values, we also learn and care, and we do this by providing the following. These activities are open to everybody, not just those who come to Church.
The Luncheon Club is held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month (except the School summer holidays), and is open to everybody who either attends our Church or lives in Linthwaite. Open to people who are aged over 70 who live on their own, are not in good health or just need the company attend. Transport is provided if needed and the guests enjoy at two course meal for a nominal charge. Once a year everybody goes out to a local restaurant, which gives the helpers a day off from preparing, cooking, serving and washing up! A full Christmas dinner is also served, with entertainment.
Anyone who wishes to volunteer is welcome to contact Sue on 07789052544. Also if you or anyone you know would benefit from this lunch please contact Sue.

Open to everyone aged 65 and over, who live within the treat boundary, this is a great opportunity to get together to meet old friends and make new ones.
